Linux Mint 19.3 released - still based on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS

There is another release of Mint in the world with Cinnamon, MATE and Xfce desktop environments. One of the biggest innovations in this release is a system of proactive system notifications that informs users of potential problems - in the system tray.

The creators have further improved the distribution habitation system by, for example, detecting some potential flaws, including the lack of localization of the system, missing multimedia codecs or hardware drivers, or the existence of a new version of Mint. They also worked on documentation. However, the system is still based on the latest LTS version, Ubuntu 18.04. There are details of each variant (Xfce, MATE and Cinnamon), plus a more detailed overview of the 19.3 innovations as such.
